Online interior design visuals from your floor plan: every room for $29.99
Upload your floor plan and Roomsee renders every room of your home furnished, drawn over a 3D model with walls, windows and doors where your plan puts them. The price is for the whole home, not per room: $29.99 for one style, in about 20 minutes. This is not a designer: no shopping list, no live consultation, just a way to see the whole home before you decide where a designer is worth paying for.
How is this different from an online interior design service?
An online interior design service (often called e-design) gives you a real designer, a concept for one room and a shopping list you can buy from. Roomsee gives you renders of every room on your plan, made by software, with no designer and no list. The two do different jobs, and they are priced differently: e-design per room, Roomsee per home.
| Roomsee | Online interior design service | Local interior designer | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Priced | Per home: $29.99 for every room in one style | Per room. Havenly online design starts at $89 per room; Spacejoy starts at $199 per room | Quoted per project: hourly, flat fee or a share of the purchases |
| Who designs | Software, in the style you pick | A designer you work with online | A designer who visits your home |
| Rooms covered | Every room we find on the plan | The rooms you pay for | What you agree on |
| What you get | A photoreal render of each room, over a 3D model of your plan | Design concepts, renders and a shopping list | A full plan, product choices, finishes and often project management |
| Shopping list | No | Yes | Yes |
| Time | About 20 minutes from upload | Days to weeks; Spacejoy states first designs within 10 business days | Weeks to months |
The Havenly and Spacejoy prices are their published prices, checked November 1, 2026, on the Havenly pricing page and the Spacejoy pricing page. Both pages showed these as discounts from higher list prices, and Spacejoy's packages go up to $599 per room. Decorilla also prices per room and by package, but its pricing page showed us prices in euros, so we do not quote them here. We did not buy any of these services. For a local designer we found no cost guide we could open, so we give no number: ask two or three designers for a quote on the rooms you care about.
When do you need a designer, not Roomsee?
- You want someone to choose real pieces. Roomsee renders a design suggestion; it does not pick products you can order.
- You need a furniture layout with sizes. We do not hand you a plan with dimensions and clearances. For that, see how to furnish a room from a floor plan, or ask a designer.
- You are choosing finishes. Paint, tile, flooring and fabric need samples in real light. We do not send samples.
- You plan custom work. Built-ins, a kitchen layout or a remodel need a designer or an architect who can draw it.
- You want it managed. Ordering, delivery and installation are a designer's job, not ours.
A reasonable split: see the whole home in Roomsee first, then pay a designer for the one or two rooms that matter most, instead of paying for a concept for every room.
What do you get instead of a design concept?
A furnished photo of every room in one style, drawn over a 3D model of your plan, about 20 minutes after upload. You pick the style and set what each room is for; we do the rest. Step by step, with the timings: floor plan to 3D render. Buying a home that is not built yet? See how to see what your new home will look like inside, using the builder's floor plan.
Does a render keep the walls a designer would work around?
Yes. A designer starts from where the doors, windows and plumbing are; so do we. Two more rooms from the same 9-room, one-story home: on the left the grey 3D model built from the plan, on the right the photo we delivered.

How much does it cost compared with a designer?
$29.99 one-time for the whole home in one style, with 9 extra renders to re-render or edit any photo; 3 styles cost $59.99 and 5 styles $79.99. No subscription and no per-room fee. If a photo fails our check, re-rendering it is free. For what designers charge, see Roomsee vs hiring an interior designer and Roomsee vs Havenly; full plan details are in the pricing section.
FAQ
Do I need an interior designer?
Not to see your home furnished. You need one if you want someone to choose and buy real pieces for you, sample finishes, plan custom work or manage the project. Many people use Roomsee first to see every room, then hire a designer for the one or two rooms that matter most.
Is Roomsee an online interior design service?
No. There is no designer on the other end. Roomsee builds a 3D model from your floor plan and renders every room in the style you pick. You get photos, not a shopping list, a furniture plan with sizes or advice on finishes.
Can I buy the furniture in the renders?
Not from us. The renders do not name products, brands or stores. Use them to settle the look of each room, then shop for pieces yourself or with a designer.
What kind of floor plan can I upload?
A clear plan from your builder or developer, a listing or an architect, as a JPG, PNG or PDF. From a PDF we read the first page.
How long does it take?
Reading the plan takes about 8 minutes, then you check the rooms; rendering takes about 12 minutes, so about 20 minutes from upload in all. A bigger home takes longer: our 4-bedroom ranch took about 32 minutes. We email you when the album is ready.
