Roomsee vs Havenly: what each one actually gives you
We have not bought Havenly's service, so this is a comparison of what each company publishes, not our own test of their result. Havenly's own pricing page lists online design from $89 per room, pairing you with a real designer over video and a shopping list, checked November 1, 2026. Roomsee renders every room of your home for $29.99 total, with no designer and no shopping list. They solve different problems: Havenly designs a room with a person's judgment, Roomsee shows you every room fast and cheap so you know where that judgment is worth paying for.
What Havenly actually sells, by its own pricing page
We did not purchase Havenly's service. Everything in this section is what Havenly's own pricing page stated when we checked it on November 1, 2026:
- Online design: $89 per room, discounted from a stated $199. A real designer is matched to your style; you collaborate over video calls; you get a finished design plan with 3D renderings and a custom floor plan; revisions are included until, in Havenly's words, "it feels like yours"; you get a shopping list with member discounts. Havenly states initial concepts typically arrive in 3 to 14 days.
- In-person design: $299 per room, discounted from a stated $699. A matched designer visits your home; the rest of the plan, renderings, revisions and shopping list are similar to the online tier, plus the designer can source and order the furniture for you. Havenly states the timeline is set individually with your designer.
- Both tiers: no hidden fees stated; existing furniture can be worked into the design; you are not required to buy everything at once.
This is Havenly's own description of its service. We have no basis to judge the quality of the designer match, the renderings or the shopping list, because we have not bought it.
What Roomsee sells instead
Roomsee is not a design service. You upload a floor plan (JPG, PNG or PDF), we build a 3D model from your own walls, windows and doors, and render every room we find in the style you pick. One payment, no designer, no video calls, no shopping list.
- You upload the plan. After a few quick questions and payment.
- We build the 3D model. About 8 minutes; you check the room list.
- We render every room. About 12 minutes, in the style you chose. Furniture and finishes are a style suggestion, not something you can order through us.
About 20 minutes from upload to album, for the whole home. More on the pipeline: floor plan to 3D render.

| Revisions | Included, until it "feels like yours" (Havenly's wording) | Free re-render if a photo fails our own check; otherwise 9 extra renders included, 1 per re-render |

Where Havenly is better
Honestly: for what it is built to do, Havenly covers ground Roomsee does not try to cover.
- A human designer's judgment. A real person looking at your space, your taste and your budget will make calls Roomsee's software cannot.
- A shoppable list. Havenly's plan comes with products you can actually buy, at member pricing. Roomsee's renders do not name a single product.
- Ongoing support. Video calls and revisions with a person who remembers your previous conversation, not a one-time render.
If what you need is one room done right, with real furniture ordered and a person to ask questions to, that is Havenly's job, not ours.
A workflow that uses both
See the whole home with Roomsee first — every room, $29.99, about 20 minutes — so you know what each room could look like and which ones you actually care about. Then hire Havenly, or a local designer, for the one or two rooms where a real person's judgment and a shopping list are worth the per-room price. You are not choosing one forever; you are choosing which tool for which room.
FAQ
Have you actually used Havenly?
No. We have not purchased Havenly's service. Everything below about Havenly is what it publishes on its own pricing page, checked November 1, 2026, not our own test of the result.
What does Havenly cost?
Havenly's own pricing page lists $89 per room for its online design tier (discounted from $199) and $299 per room for its in-person tier (discounted from $699), checked November 1, 2026. Pricing is per room, not per home.
What does Roomsee cost?
$29.99 for one style covering every room of your home, plus 9 extra renders. That is a one-time payment for the whole home, not per room.
Is Roomsee a replacement for Havenly?
Not for what Havenly actually sells: a real designer's judgment and a shopping list you can buy from. Roomsee replaces the part where you try to picture every room before deciding where a designer's time is worth spending.
Which one should I use first?
You may get more for your money by seeing the whole home in Roomsee first, then hiring Havenly or a local designer for the one or two rooms that matter most, instead of paying a per-room design fee for every room up front.
